Section 5 of 8

Proofs and close-out

When we need a signature, and when the board says nothing to sign.

This is not legal advice. Courts and statutes control. Florida Chapter 48 cites on this guide are implementation targets for our attempt screen, not a substitute for counsel. Questions: getaffidra@gmail.com.

Proofs lists affidavits ready for you. If the list is empty, the board says Nothing to sign — that is a real close-out state, not a broken page. Some files (non-service with a complete attempt packet) release pay after QA without a signature packet.

When a proof is required, open the Affidra Return of Service from Proofs. Sign with a typed name, timestamp, and device attest — no drawn wet signature in this version.

If submit fails, fix the photo or GPS deficiency and resend. Do not delete the attempt that already landed. After you sign, the return sits In review. Counsel does not see the return or photos until staff releases it. Your fee stays in float until that release.

  • Personal service and most substitute serves need a proof packet.
  • Nothing to sign: no affidavit waiting. Check Pay for float vs released.
  • Do not reopen a closed attempt to swap photos after the fact — add a new attempt if you went back.
  • Proofs — Nothing to sign / ready to sign
