Section 4 of 8

Attempts, photos, and GPS

Every stop is a new attempt. GPS, fresh photos, and Florida Sunday rules.

This is not legal advice. Courts and statutes control. Florida Chapter 48 cites on this guide are implementation targets for our attempt screen, not a substitute for counsel. Questions: getaffidra@gmail.com.

Each stop is its own attempt. Do not edit yesterday’s line to look like today’s knock. Fresh photos every stop: premises plus something that identifies the address.

GPS is required. A miss of about 200 meters is a deficiency — add photos that prove you were at the serve-at, then expect review. The live geofence is still arriving from the WCS hub; the attempt form already records the GPS note.

Successful personal service: at least two photos, camera-first (shoot in the attempt flow; do not fish an old camera roll). Admin can see the packet live. Counsel sees proof after the affidavit is accepted — not your live camera.

  • Outcomes we expect you to pick with care: personal service; substitute service on someone 15 or older; non-service with a reason; field-skip (you are not taking the next knock).
  • Florida Sunday: you cannot submit a Served outcome on a Sunday serve-at in Florida. Weekday attempts still record. See Rules.
  • If a submit fails, fix and resend. Do not delete the attempt.
